The following morning I spent extra time on my appearance and wardrobe for the interview. I wanted to appear stylish, yet business-like. I choose a cool black pantsuit and white shirt that I had purchased a few weeks before in the hopes of gaining an interview somewhere. Wearing my hair loose in a swept back, fully brushed manner, I chose a simple gold neck rope ending in a feathered tassel. I had long since given up wearing my wedding ring, now that my divorce was complete it no longer mattered. Snapping a pair of gold bracelets on my left wrist, I studied the overall effect in the bedroom mirror.
